2. What data we process and why
We process the personal data you give us in the following cases:
Bookings: when you book through the booking module on this website or by phone, we process your name, phone number, email address, date, time and number of guests, and any notes you give us (for example, a celebration or a table preference). We use them to manage your booking, confirm it, remind you of it and let you know about any changes.
Enquiries: when you email or call us, we process the details you provide in order to answer your enquiry.
If you tell us about an allergy or food intolerance when booking, we will use it only to prepare your visit safely and will not keep it longer than necessary.
We do not create profiles or make automated decisions based on your data.
3. Legal basis
Bookings: performance of the booking you request.
Enquiries: your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to your request.
Allergies or intolerances: your explicit consent when you tell us about them.
4. How long we keep your data
We keep booking data for as long as needed to manage the booking and, after that, for any applicable legal retention periods. Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or blocked as required by law.
5. Recipients
We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. To provide our service we work with providers who process data on our behalf, with whom we have signed the contracts required by law:
CoverManager: the booking management platform integrated into this website.
LucusHost: the website hosting provider, with servers in the European Union.
When you book through the CoverManager module, its own terms and privacy policy also apply. They are available in the booking module itself.
6. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, and withdraw any consent you have given at any time. Write to us at info@restaurantequinque.es or at our postal address, stating which right you wish to exercise and including a means of identification.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access or misuse.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
